Vinyl is a tough plastic film which conforms to curved surfaces. There are three grades of vinyl: Flexible (soft), Semi-Rigid (hard), and Rigid. Choosing the right material: Interior or exterior application? Life expectancy of the decal? Size of the marketing? Conforming to highly irregular surfaces? Removable vinyl removes from the applied surface up to 6 months. May leave adhesive residue. Destructible vinyl cannot be removed intact – rips apart when removed. Repositionable vinyl – adjustable vinyl that can be applied and reapplied before the adhesive is activated and applied with a squeegee.
